We could not be more thrilled to announce that we’ve been nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for ‘Children’s Artist of the Year! We are in such good company and we wish all of our fellow nominees well. Especially Ginalina and Madame Diva, who we met in Edmonton last year at the CFMAs.
Thank you so much to BreakOut West for the nomination. We are thrilled that you enjoy our music!!!
We are thrilled to be returning to the Garden Stage to play the Filberg Festival in August! One of our most memorable concerts of the ‘I’m Not a Bunny,’ tour was playing at the Filberg Festival in 2015 and we’re very excited to include songs from our second album, ‘Pants on Backwards,’ during our set this summer.
This morning we were surfing the web together to see when the applications for the 2017 Canadian Folk Music Awards were open and we saw a photo of our performance in Edmonton on their home page! Thank you, CFMAs! What a lovely surprise!!! Visiting Edmonton for the 2015 CFMAs was one of the highlights of our year and we are so grateful to have so many great memories of our experience.
Stella’s song, ‘I’m Not a Bunny,’ was entered in the 2015 International Songwriting Competition, and she has been selected as a semi-finalist! Stella wrote the song by herself when she was just eight years old!
We hope that everyone is enjoying a fabulous beginning to 2016! We are excited to be participating in Family Literacy Week again this year. We will be doing a Library Tour, starting in Nanaimo at the Wellington Branch on Saturday, January 23rd at 2:00 p.m..
The following week, we will be hitting our local libraries with shows at 10:30 am on the 27th in Courtenay, the 28th in Comox, and the 29th in Cumberland.

Congratulations Helen and Paul!
